I’m cursed
I feel like Little Bo Peep. But whereas she was followed around by a cute lamb, I am plagued by snow.
And everywhere that Heather went,
that snow was sure to find her.
We woke this morning to a good sprinkling of it on the ground here in Lancashire with the Pennines completely white in the distance.
And so, with you lot of snow freaks in mind, I braved the gorgeous sunny weather and incredibly stunning views (the lengths I go to for you guys) and set off up Watergrove armed with my camera.
Enjoy.

I'm Heather, an ex expat, now back in blighty and living in Lancashire. Which is just like Lapland only less snowy...and stuff.

Gorgeous! I’m just glad all that snow is in your backyard and not mine!
Looks lovely but crap when it is in Paris outside my front door. I fear snow is on the way to us as well.
No snowmen?
You’re not even trying!
MAGNIFICENT photos, Heather!
The critter in snapshot #4…. sheep?
Lovely pics!
Stunning! We’re in the middle of the summer wet season in North Queensland right now, those pictures look like heaven. Although I hate cold and would probably hide inside with 50 layers of thermals on & all fires/heaters going full blast.
Still, beautiful pictures.
At least you won’t be snowed in with 3 odd feet of snow here?
Well… we do get up to 2 feet at times where I live, mind.
That’s an apt answer to an interesting quseiton
Gorgeous photos Heather! Didn’t know UK was so clean. Not a pile of dogshit anywhere to be seen.
Awww, pretty pics! We haven’t had any snow where I am this year yet. It’s unseasonably warm…I’m not sure how I feel about it.
You would be cursed if this happened in the summer.
For winters it’s simply as it should be.
HI there, nice to meet you, came through Modern Mother. Would love some of this snow over our way (california). it’s all slush here.
Thank you for being brave!!
It looks like very beautiful. Sometimes I imagine that if I were here then it would be a memorable event in my life. I think you enjoyed it very much.
